Hyper Universe

Will Hyper Universe survive in 2019? Well I have yet to find a game and this this sub is just as inactive. I had high hopes for this game. My friends as well as myself bought the hyper pack believing we were in it for the long haul. Now it seems that it may be joining Gigantic in. Hyper Universe game details. Leap into the action with this intense side-scrolling MOBA that will force you to use insane power to save the universe. Take on the role of a cast of powerful heroes, the Hypers, as you embark on an epic quest for salvation.

There are a diverse cast of characters for you to play and I was very impressed with the attention to detail each character has because it There are a diverse cast of characters for you to play and I was very impressed with the attention to detail each character has because it makes them feel all different. I really enjoyed the presentation side of the game because you can tell that a lot of love and effort has gone into both the visuals and sound design. The gameplay can be a huge amount of fun when in full flow and I love how the gameplay remains fair and challenging at the all times. Technically the game runs smooth most of the time and I haven’t bumped into any serious problems, which is impressive considering I’ve sunk quite a few hours in. There isn’t much in terms of a playerbase at the moment and it can take quite a while to find a game.

The game could do with a few maps because playing on the same map over and over again can make things become tedious quite quickly. I really enjoyed the characters some feel a little unbalanced and at times this can be a little frustrating. You can’t move today without bumping into a MOBA and whilst I’m actually a fan of these types of game’s I can’t help feeling that the genre is a little saturated.

That being said despite the overcrowded genre I still like to get to grips with a new MOBA so I did have some interest in Hyper Universe. I will say though that the interest wasn’t too high and that was mainly due to a few negative comments I’ve seen about the game and after playing it for a while I can see why some dislike the game. Negativity aside though the game is actually pretty decent and whilst it’s not the best MOBA around it still does enough to get a recommendation from me because it does do some important things right.

Censorship, and I use the term loosely, was the easiest thing for players to lash out against.

The breast and buttocks reduction to some of the 2D artwork didn't even affect the 3D models used in game. The true downfall lay with the community managers and overall lack of player support. Art was just something that the community could physically prove in a side by side comparison and rally against. It's a shame that Nexon and/or CWave did very little to regain the community they lost. I wonder what the politics were for those companies that made them say, 'we shot our selves in the foot; let's bleed out.' I agree that the censorship was the stepping stone.

Really, from what I've done in research and as someone who was hyped for this game back when it wad first announced, I believe it had to be the social politics of it all.A bunch of CMs who were given a weeb game that they probably didn't much care for. Especially the one female and could sort of graft their identities onto. When people called them out on it, they doubled down and suffered for it. I'm not sure if they learned anything but it is a clear case of what poor choices can really do to a budding community.
