Posted: 10 AprilSo i'm original insurgency veteran, around 900 hours, and there was a free week again and i decided to finally give this game a shot. On the first glance this game looked amazing, better sound design, better graphics, air support and a lot of small things that really created one of the most immersive games I have played. But after a solid couple of hours the cracks started to show and I understood why most of the original insurgency playerbase never transitioned to this game.First let's address the performance, which to this day is not optimal.
So from what I have read almost everyone even the guys with the high-end rigs have problems, myself included. Some areas this game runs without issues, 120fps on med to high no problems, as soon as there is a lot bullets or airstrikes or anything of that sort, this game struggles and it really doesn't matter that much what the settings are. This is super annoying since inconsistent framerate is even worse the consistent low framerate. That also leads to visibility issues which is to be expected with better graphics and good amount of custom clothing, but it is not that bad. What was, at least for me far more annoying are the gameplay changes.
So anyone that played the first insurgency knows how quickly you die in that game and it really did not matter what you were being shot with. Most guns two shot you, three shots at extreme long range if u were using low cal, the most extreme was the makarov pistol that could take up to five shots but it was a huge outlier in that regard. Simply put so long you had ap rounds and hitting center mass the targets would drop almost instantly. Here apart from shotguns you cannot change the weapons damage or penetration capabilities. And i'm not going to argue realism, but gameplay wise this makes some weapons extremely unfun to use, mainly the low cal fast firing ones. The reason being this game still has weapons that can one tap you at most common engagement distances, and also things like the uzi or mp5 which take waaaaaaaay too long get a kill.
Still, a whole century later, the general consensus is that, yes, your interpretation of a random inkblot will say something about you.Take Card IV. Even Rorschach himself was tentative about the blot being used as a personality test; he'd developed it only to diagnose schizophrenia. Half of the people who see this card think that it looks like two animals — dogs, elephants, and bears are the most common — fighting in the wild.Don't panic if the blots still just look like inkblots, or if you've seen your worst nightmares inside those hideous shadowy figures. Rochard test. And if you saw two figures trying to make peace with their joined hands, you're potentially calmer in the face of violence. The accuracy of the test has been since its outset, with plenty of psychoanalysts believing that the Rorschach Test is about as accurate as the.
It just happened a bit too often where i run in to a situation where i have a drop on somebody, start firing first, hitting him multiple times and he just swings around and one taps me with FAL or some other high cal battle rifle. So basically despite there being a lot more weapons to chose from now, pretty much everyone goes for the highest caliber weapon you have in the class you are playing.
