The Patrician 2, follow-up to famous Amiga game Patrician is set in 13th century Europe (two sequels came out also, Patrician 3 and 4). As a petty trader, it is your task to move up the ranks, amass huge wealth and become the supreme ruler of the world, with coffers so full of gold that it falls out. That, in short, is the whole point of this entertaining trade-simulation game. Set aside ancient graphics and gruesome repetition you will endure. If you enjoy trading games, you WILL love Patrician 2. Even the most hardcore simulation fans will find The Patrician 2 challenging, but some may yet rise and achieve the ultimate goal. While not so aesthetically pleasing as some other titles, it does provide immense game play and many hours of entertainment. I sincerely recommend this game to anyone with some spare time and love for trading sims.
