It's like Golf where the player with the worst score keeps playing until they aren't in last or until their car runs out fuel, then the next place from last has their turn and so on.If you like Trials or Super Meat Boy, solo mode is like this except in a car.The solo mode is just like it says, 'Easy to learn, difficult to master'. Getting all of the Golds is hard enough on the 200 levels let alone the Trackmaster.The solo makes time trials fun because it let's you race against a ghost of your best and a ghost of someone else's best If you've got a friend with a better time, race their ghost and learn from them!

This is the best time trial game to date. Submitted on Review title of Pro LavishPeople who gave 1 star played the game onceEverybody on Xbox expects racing games like this to be like Forza (since everyone fanboys Forza). This series is more of a kick back and relax racing series. Paku paku dude. The people who've played this series for years now knows that the competition aspect comes from wanting to get gold all the time. I've played this series since Trackmania: Sunrise and I've had a blast playing the main courses as well as UGC. If you don't like this game you expect too much.
