Numerous elements and aspects of horror movies are referenced throughout the game. Aside from all these codes, Apogee gave us some gameplay tips that you can have some extra fun with:
Protip: Type in god then booze then gunfinity and slomo .5 – Point the DRUNK Missile at the ground. YOU CAN NOW FLY.
Mega protip: type Start Entry into the console to enter the shooting gallery and museum (recommended for AFTER you beat the campaign. Spoilers, yo)
Super mega protip: Activate “Classic Mode” in audio options for EVEN MORE NOSTALGIA.

Customer Cheat
Type in each cheat code, letter by letter, to get the desired effect. You can type in either the 'code' or the 'alternate'. Note that for the codes, the slash is a backslash, not a forward slash. The codes are not case sensitive. The 'dipstick' code must be given before any others, to enable the other cheats. Note that any cheats marked by an asterisk work only in the registered version of the game. All other cheats work in both the shareware and registered versions.If you want a more readable version of this, please see the Apogee FAQ. - '-screenshots' will enable you to capture screen shots. From the game, press [alt] [C] to save a PCX image. In version 1.3 of the game, the '-screenshots' parameter is not required.
Notes- 'Customer Cheat' means it's the cheat given out with the registered version of the software.
- 'Debug Mode' means it's an unsupported cheat mode.
- 'Tech Parameter' means it's a code that does something, but really isn't a cheat, it's more or less there to help Apogee Customer Support.
- 'Misc Command Line Parameter' is the same type of thing as Tech Parameter.
Cheat keys are not officially supported by Apogee. If you use the debug keys, Apogee cannot provide any support, since this alters game performance to a state where our standard support comments and issues might not apply. In short, using cheat keys can cause the game to malfunction or crash. Use at your own risk!
